WHAT IS ORIGAMI?
Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into different shapes and animals.
Ori means fold and gami means paper.

WHO INVENTED ORIGAMI?
No one really knows who invented origami.
In 105 AD Ts'ia - Lun was one of first recorded people to fold paper.

THE LARGEST ORIGAMI CRANE
The largest origami crane is 215 feet long and weighs 1750 pounds.
The crane had to be built inside of a football stadium.
The crane was built for Wings for Peace.

SMALLEST ORIGAMI CRANE
The smallest crane is 0.1 by 0.1 millimeters.
Mr. Naito was the one who folded it. He had to use tweezers and microscopes to fold it.

THE LARGEST ORIGAMI TRAIN
The longest train was built by a man named David Brill and the British Origami Society.
The paper train had 1,150 paper train cars.
The train was also 254 meters long.
