WHO?

  • WHO founded Rome?
  • Two brothers named Romulus and Remus.
  • They then fought over who would rule the city
  • and Romulus killed Remus and names the city
  • after him

  • What did The Romans like to do?
  • They liked to go to the Colosseum and watch
  • fights between slaves, gladiators, and wild
  • animals such as a lion. They also liked the theatre
  • and watching chariot races.

  • When was the start of the Origin of Rome? When did the Etruscans live?
  • Rome started about 753 BC by the two brothers Romulus and Remus.
  • The Etruscans lived in 900 BC on the Italian Peninsula.

  • Rome is the capital of Italy located on the Tiber River.
  • It is on the western portion of the peninsula.
