The difference between an orthographic and a third angle projection is that a third angle projection flips from one side to another where an orthographic rolls from the original object like its in a "bowl".

What view will have a hidden line

  • All of the views may have a hidden line exept the 3D.

The term "bowl" is used a lot when making orthographic projection for how u draft the sides of the 3D item/image like you roll it on each sides.

  • The front view is in the bottom left corner
  • The side view is on the bottom right hand side of the corner
