• the houses were made of adobe and stone

• some houses were made of mud
• There is an average of three people per house

• They use spears for hunting
• They hunt mostly bears and deer.
• they grew mostly corn, potatoes, and sugar cane
• They grow and harvest their crops

• there is one church per 30 houses
• The pope leads the church
• There is no weapons allowed in the church
• there are soldiers guarding the outside
• They must be catholic

entertainment

• theater productions everyday
• kids have wooden skateboards
• kids play baseball
• adults play cards

climate

• winter-snow and ice are extremely rare
• summer-warm,hot, and occasional showers
• overall this area is subtropical

GOVERNMENT

• the mayor rules everything
• judges have a lot of power
• they meet in a courthouse

DEFENSE

• There are police around the borders
• If you commit a crime, you are thrown out
• there are 5 watchtowers around the perimeter
• there are guards around important buildings

Health

• there is one hospital for every town
• There are few doctors to work in the hospital
• only get medicine if you are dying or in severe pain
• The people here do not live long

Education

• there is a one room schoolhouse taught by a teacher
• School is required until the age of 16
• only taught history, reading,and math
• 3 hours a day
• Teacher must be older than 20 and female

POPULATION

• There are about 600 people
• Half have children
• Around 150 per town
• Less than half are females
