TONIGHT'S MENU
- Macco di fave (sicilian fava and fennel soup)
- Chicken scallopini with brown butter and sage
- Roasted baby potatoes with lavender and thyme
- Mixed greens salad with strawberry vinaigrette
- Blueberry pie and creme angel ice cream
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Preheated oven to 250 F
- 5 quarts water in pot on medium heat
- 2-3 quart pot to heat soup (or microwave)
- 3-4 hungry friends or family to impress
TO START...
- Cover pie with foil
- Put pie in oven to warm
- Reheat soup on med lo to 165 f
- Serve soup when desired
ADD BAG OF POTATOES TO BOILING WATER.
...SET TIMER FOR 5 MINUTES...
AFTER 5 MINUTES...DROP IN BAG OF SCALLOPINI.
AFTER 3 MINUTES, REMOVE BOTH BAGS FROM WATER.
ADD SCALLOPINI TO POTATOES...
TOSS GREENS WITH STRAWBERRY VINAIGRETTE.
