Jupiter

  • Jupiter has a very stormy atmosphere, the Great Red Spot is the most obvious storm on Jupiter.

Saturn

  • Saturn has clouds bands of different colors in the atmosphere, called ammonia.

Uranus

  • Uranus is sideways, so when it orbits the sun, it looks like it is rolling around in the sky.

Neptune

  • Neptune has winds that can be as strong as 700 miles/hour. No other planet has winds that strong!

Comet

  • When comets crash into earth, they have brought water and other substances with them.

Kuiper Belt

  • Comets come from the Kuiper Belt only if the have less than, or equal to 200 year periods

Dwarf Planets

  • A difference between a planet and a dwarf planet is that a dwarf planet doesn't have it's own orbit, it shares one.
