Sodapop Curtis

Sodapop and Steve were probably the best friends.
Two-bit Matthews
"Ponyboy, listen, don't get tough. You're not like the rest of us and don't try to be." Two-bit had to be the funniest of them all.
Johnny Cade
"Stay gold ponyboy" Johnny had to be the most quite out of them all.
Dallas Winston
"Johnny, I ain't mad at you. I just don't want you to get hurt. You don't know what a few months in jail can do to you. Oh, blast it, Johnny you get hardened in jail. I don't want that to happen to you. Like it happened to me." Dally was most likely to be in jail or have to deal with the police.
