Estrogen and progesterone are important to female development.

Estrogen and progesterone are the two hormones that help regulate the reproductive system.

PEAR SHAPED GLAND

LOCATED IN THE PELVIC REGION

OVARIES PRODUCE EGGS AND SECRETES THE TWO HORMONES.

General health wise, females go through their menstrual cycle every month for a week.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms include fatigue, irritability, and depression.

Some medical concerns would be infertility, cysts on the ovaries, and an irregular menstrual cycle.
