WHAT IS OVERPOPULATION?

  • Overpopulation is when a specie bypass the carrying capacity of their environment.
  • This phenomenon happens when the number resources in an environment can't support the current population.
  • For example, If a herd of deer deplete all of the food in their environment, food will be more precious therefore
  • finding food will be more difficult as well as the fight for food will be more intense.
  • It can also be described as the ratio of species to resources or how resources are distributed.

WHY ARE HUMANS OVERPOPULATED?

  • In the last few decades, the human population has over 7 billion people.
  • With more and more people getting supplies, the amount of people surviving has increased.
  • In devolving countries, the birth rate is much higher than in developed counties because
  • in order to have to have the greatest chance of there children to surviving, but with
  • the chance of surviving up, more of the 5-6 children per woman are surviving.
