Owls feathers are soft and fringed allowing the owl to be silent when they flap their wings.

After three weeks an owlet can swallow its prey whole.

An owl pellet is a clump of indigestible material that an owl has regurgitated.

It is important for the baby Owls to fly and leave the nest to go to new territories as soon as possible so the area doesn't run out of food.

Barn Owls can live up to 20-25 years.
