TO BEGIN
Never perform welding or cutting operations on a container that has held toxic,flammable liquids or vapors.
Never perform welding or cutting operations in an area containing combustible vapors, flammable liquids

SAFETY
welder should stand to one side of the gauges when opening oxygen valve
Leave acetylene cylinder valve wrench in place so valve can be turned off quickly
4.
SAFETY
Never use acetylene at above 15 psi
Check low-pressure gauge readings to make sure that pressures are not rising
5.
SAFETY
A rising pressure indicates that a valve is leaking
The outfit should be shut down immediately
Use a flint lighter to ignite acetylene
6.
SAFETY
Leave the wrench in place on the acetylene cylinder valve
Check the low-pressure gauges for any gradual increase in pressures
If the pressures are increasing, the regulator seat may be leaking
If pressure on either of low-pressure gauge is increasing shut down quickly
Use a spark lighter to ignite the fuel gas
