What is God saying to you? vs. 1:29-33
What am I confused or troubled about?
What do I need to think through, literally have a conversation with myself about?
Take some time, imperfect shows that she thought about it repeatedly off and on over a period of time, even though the overall time frame could have been quite short....
What am I afraid of?
What kind of plan does God have for me?
A plan that reflects God's favor, grace playing out in my life....
You will conceive
You will give birth to a son
You will name him Jesus
Your son will be very great
Your son will be called Son of the Most High
Your son will reign over Israel
Your son's kingdom will never end
Are my plans for me God sized?
How confident do I feel about His plan?
What am I confused or troubled about?

Given my current situation as a virgin
Given my limitations as a young girl....with no position of power, no strength, no authority......
What is the gap between what God is saying and what I know my situation to be?
What in my current situation could be a hindrance to God's plan playing out in my life?
I hear the Lord saying in between the lines....good question......

Seek to Understand God 1:35-37
1. His word is the source of the answers - Angel Gabriel said......
God and His Spirit are the source of the power to make this a reality
The Holy Spirit will come upon you and change you from being a virgin to an expectant mother
The Most High - God himself will supply the power needed to make this happen.....
What happens will be holy - special, set apart, a cut above the average work of a sinful heart,
2. His work - What is God already doing that I need to know about....
Elizabeth is already in her 6th month, and you know how old she is.....
point of investigating what God is doing is to illustrate how His power is already at work in other people, and to get us to believe that nothing is impossible with God
Nothing can stop the will of God from coming to pass......Herod, Ceasar.....etc
3. His nature -
God cannot not move forward in accordance with his plan to offer salvation through his son Jesus....his goal is to build an eternal kingdom

Peace comes when we put to rest who we serve......

SO, we changed the logo, connected with Servant Ministries, looking to connect with this Detroit mission in August, and continue what we do here in town and in the county.....
But that was a two year wrestling match.......
