Atlantis

The story

• A long time ago there was a man named Plato.In between is work Timaeus and Critias, he told to his students the oldest story in the world.It was Atlantis.He said,""Along time ago,9,000 years ago there was a man named Poisedon.He fell in love with a girl named Clieto.They married and had 10 children.They were each given a piece of land.One day the 10 children fought for more land.Zeus was furious.So he destroyed it."" and that was all Plato told.No one knows how it was destroyed.And no one knows where it is...

Explorers

• Some explorers of Atlantis are very serious about it.They dedicate their lives to find Atlantis.They search everywhere including Antartica.Some explorers say they saw it in the Amazon,some say Africa,and some say it was North America itself!Some examples of explorers are:Ignatius Donnelly,K.T Frost,Edgar Cayce,and P.H Fawcett.

ATLANTIS had many things.It had a lake with hot water and a lake with cold water.It had food,animals,and basic needs.It was a rich with gold and silver.It had temples and palaces.It had peace and harmony.It was a paradise.

• Cuba -Cuba doesn't let them explore their land
• Amazon -Explorers say they saw a golden palace
• Antarctica -Some people say it's in ice, not water
• Mexico -Does the stone heads there is Atlantis?
• Algeria -Does the strange mountain range be the mountains of Atlantis?
• Malta -These strange stones there have been suggested that it was Atlantis
• Azores -Can these islands be the top of the mountains?
• Crete -Long ago a volcano erupted on the island and half of it was wiped out.Could this be Atlantis?
• Bahamas -Can the strange rocks underwater could be the ruins of Atlantis?

WHERE DID ATLANTIS COME FROM?
Atlantis was built by Poisedon(Neptune) on a beautiful island.He one day fell in love with a beautiful girl named Cleito.They married, and had 10 children.Poisedon made on the island a palace for all of them to live in.Many people lived there until it was destroyed.

Where did the story Atlantis come from?
The story of Atlantis comes from actually came from Egypt.It was passed down to Solon the lawgiver by an Egyptian priest.Then it was given to Plato, where he told the story.

Atlantis inspired many writers and film makers.

But many people said they saw almost EVERYWHERE.It has inspired many writers,film makers, and many, many people.Many explorers dedicate their lives to find Atlantis.They want the riches and wealth.They say its in the Amazon, in Antartica, Bahamas, and - basically everywhere.Where would you look?!?
