The Point

If you are going to be active citizens of your communities who want to see change, then you must think and write about issues that concern you

Now that we have brainstormed American issues

  • What concerns you? What does it mean to be concerned?
  • Think about things going on in the world RIGHT NOW
  • Make a list of issues that concern you

Was it hard to think of concerns or did it come easily?

Review your list

  • Choose 1 issue that you think is most important
  • Rewrite that question under your list
  • Ask as many questions as you can in 5 minutes about this topic
