Military conflicts
The first military conflict had to do with the Civil War.

The Civil War was a conflict between people in the United States of America over what should have been the peoples natural born rights.
In World War 1 the United States of America gained a lot of wealth and became a world power.
In World War 2 the United States was the first country in the world to use the atomic bomb. World War 2 also ended the Great Depression.
About 10 years ago the United States of America entered Afghanistan to get rid of Al-Qaeda and to end the terrorists. Today the United States are finally starting to pull out of Afghanistan.
Connection:
Military Conflict has to do with the subject of the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution had to do with the growth of our military weapons. So all in all, they are similar.

In the Industrial Revolution the U.S. started with standard rifles.

The United States of America started out using standard rifles that were long to reload and not very accurate.

At this point in time, the U.S. started producing more advanced rifles.

At this time, the United States was using way more advance rifles with accessories on them to help our United States soldiers.
Here the United States made one of the most deadly weapons of all time. The United States created the nuclear bomb. The nuclear bomb is detonated by splitting and atom and cause a massive explosion.
Currently the United States is using spy drones to watch our enemy.Spy drones are small planes that fly really high above ground. The planes has a camera that can zoom in to extreme ranges. These planes are how we now what our enemy is going to do before they do it.

The Industrial Revolution has to do with Technology because the Industrial Revolution was how the United States gained weapons to help the military. The Technology is the growth in communication in war. So they both have to do with a growth in war.

First, the United States communicated through mores code.
At this time, the United States used mores code to communicate with one another. Morse code is a series of dots and dashes. It was sent through a telegraph as show in the previous slide.

Next the United States used phones to communicate.

At this point, the United States is using a wall phone to communicate with each other.

Third, the United States used radios to communicate.
Here, the United States is using radios. This radio is to communicate with other countries, other bases, and our own soldiers.

Lastly, the U.S. used secured phone lines to connect to one another.
Here is Barack Obama is showing himself using a secured phone line. This means that nobody except for the person on the other side of that call can here what he is saying now, or in the future.
Connections:
Technology is connected to war, and war is how we got our world influence. We got it through wining wars and showing the rest of the world that we are nothing to be messed with.

After the Civil War, the United States was a weak country.
The United States was weak. The reason we were weak was because we were losing a bunch of battles, money, patriotism, and health. The reason we were losing health is because of disease, we lost patriotism because we starred losing some battles, and we lost some money because people were spending to much of it.

Second, the U.S. started gaining respect from other countries again.
The United States started to gain respect because we were winning some battles, the economy was good, and the people stared to love their country again.

The United States was starting to become a weak country again.
The United States stared to become a weak country again mostly because of the Great Depression. This caused lots of people to become homeless and have to travel to other parts of the country in search of jobs, this causes them to spit up their family.

Lastly the United States returns to a world superpower.
After all thats happened in the United States, we came out to be a world superpower. Today we are truly one of the best nations in the world.
