Virtual Training/Meeting Norms

• V-value the presenter, coach, or instructor's time by being punctual & prepared.
• I- Identify and remove any barriers that might distract or prevent learning.
• R-Reduce the noise in your background such as, other individuals talking, TV, or music.
• T-Test your microphone, audio, & lighting settings prior to the meeting.
• U- Use "good" manners suchas waiting for the appropriate time to speak.
• L-Leave the meeting at the appropriate time. If you must leave early email the teacher/presenter.

• Get a white sheet of copy paper folding it twice (making four boxes)
• Retrieve a pencil or pen.
• Place a "F' in the left corner of the first box.
• Place an " A" in the top right corner of the box.
• Place a "C" in the lower left corner of the box.
• Place an " E" in lower right corner of the box.

• Inspirational - Instruction tip of the week. Motivational videos, weekly affirmations-get students to talk.(place on announcement page of Google Classroom)

• Discussion Framework- Provide a scenario aligned with lesson and students determine a favorable outcome.
• Student Presentations
• Teacher Directed Discovery Sessions
• Gamifications- Quizziz, Kahoot, Pear Deck, and other online engaging tools for learning

• General Class Announcements
• Instructional Videos-provide and record instruction videos for every assignment,for explanation purposes.
• Teacher feedback- must be authentic, construction feedback- no generic response explain what they did that was "awesome" as well things they didn't do so well. Customize your feedback for "accountability" purposes.

• Google Classroom navigation- identify wehere everything is location in Google Classroom, icons, tabs, announcements, grades. etc.
• Support Tools and Resources- Teacher virtual hours, lessons instruction videos
• Teacher and Student Role and Responsibilities- students need to be responsible for class activities and their roles to seeking help when needed. Teacher need to be accessible to meet student needs , communication is key.
