Charm School

  • You may have been able to slide through HS with your charm and smarts, but college may be different. For example, participation for a grade rarely counts in college. Being able to test is a real skill in college. Reading and doing homework is necessary now.

X Sleep

  • Don't pride yourself on operating on no sleep. Break that habit now. Getting run down can cause you to get sick and miss class --> which leads to NO makeup time. That doesn't exist in college.
  • delightrom.com - alarm
  • sleepyti.me - wake up time calculator

Procrastinate

  • Tip: Spend 5-10 min now and your brain will be tricked that you might actually like the assignment later.
  • Repetition will help you learn. Review your notes after class, even if it's just for 20-30 minutes. It will help better prepare for exams so you don't feel like your cramming.
