WINDFALL

  • Synonyms: benefit, godsend, blessing, benediction
  • Antonyms: affliction, evil, plague
  • Meanings: something that provides happiness or does good for a person or thing, something blown down by the wind, an unexpected, unearned or sudden gain of advantage, a piece of unexpected good fortune typically one that includes receiving a large amount of money.
  • POS: noun
  • E.x. Winning the lottery was an amazing windfall for the worker that was just fired.

  • Synonyms: spank, leather, skin, hurry, batter
  • Antonyms: creep, crawl, poke
