• Animal acts or behaves in order to stay alive
• TWO TYPES=
• Instinctive- behaviors that happen naturally and don't have to be learned.
• Learned = behaviors that must be taught

• Evergreens = have full leaves that persist and remain
• Green Throughout the year
• Deciduous = leaves fall off or shed at a specific season
• Or stage in growth
