Why did you not guess She-Hulk? Chances are that you'll reply with "Who?" or "I don't know anybody else."

SO WHEN YOU HEAR "I'M THINKING OF A CHARACTER"...

YOUR MIND ACTUALLY THINKS "WHO'S THE MOST POPULAR CHARACTER.

Bias in experiments works the same way.
You either made a mistake while preforming the experiment, or you subconsciously want something to happen.

Kaitlyn goes to the mall. She is trying to figure out what is the most popular color because she has no life. She decides to ask every third person and asks them if they like red, black, or blue better.
Did she mess up?

She wanted to know the most popular color but only gave three colors.

Dana is preforming a project in class. She spills A1 sauce on her paper. She starts the project over and transfers the data so she doesn't have to table it again.
What did Dana do wrong?

SO WHAT IS BIAS/EXPERIMENTAL ERROR?
