HURRICANES

  • A hurricane is a storm with a violent wind.
  • A hurricane looks like wind that is really strong.
  • They form near the equator over warm ocean waters.
  • A hurricane is about 60 miles to 1,000 miles long.
  • The damage is brutal it can destroy half of the state.

TORNADOES

  • A tornado is a destructive rotating wind that is a funnel-shaped cloud.
  • A tornado looks like a spinning cloud that goes around the world.
  • It forms into a storm then strong wind comes near the storm.
  • They are about 250 feet long from the sky to the ground.
  • Tornadoes makes so much damage that it breaks everything it touches.

THUNDERSTORMS

  • A thunderstorm is a storm with thunder and lightning and heavy rain or hail.
  • It looks like thunder and lightning mixed together.
  • It forms by cumulonimbus clouds,heavy rain,and somtimes hail.
  • The thunderstorms are about 50,000 feet long.
  • A thunderstorm makes so much damage when it stikes it becomes fire.
