• Anne was born on June 12,1929.
• She was born and raised in Frankfurt Germany.
• Her parents were Otto and Edith Frank.
• She had an older sister named Margot Frank.

EMIGRATING TO THE NETHERLANDS

• The franks have left Germany
• Otto Frank sets up a business in Amsterdam
• They all move to Amsterdam along with Otto Frank
• They find a place to live in Merwedeplein
• The girls go to school and Edith takes care of the house

THE GERMAN INVASION!

• German troops invade the Netherlands
• Life starts to change for Jews
• The Jews had limited access to public places and more
• They went into hiding at Otto's work office
• They were helped by Otto's co-workers

ANNE'S DIARY

• Otto Frank gave Anne a diary for her 13th birthday
• Anne wrote all about her friends and school before the war
• During the war Anne would talk about going into hiding
• She would talk about her relationships and fights
• Anne's father after he found her diary he had it published

THE AREST

• Someone had betrayed the franks family.
• They were all found in the secret annex
• They were all arrested.
• They all were sent to concentration camps.

OTTO FRANK RETERNS

• The camp Otto was liberated.
• He was liberated from Auschwitz camp.
• He came home and found that his whole family didn't make it
• Meip gave Otto Frank Anne's diary after they found she had past.
• Otto had published Anne's diary

THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

• After they confermed Anne's death Meip gave Frank the diary
• Otto had read Anne's diary and thought he found a lot about her
• Otto had Anne's diary published
• It is now called the secret annex.
