In North America-
Areas that are on the coast (California or Florida) might use this to create fresh water in factories.
In South America-
Areas that are close to the coast, but not near fresh water (Santiago) will use this in factories to create the water supply.
In Europe-
Areas that are islands (Iceland) will use these to get their water resource.
In Asia-
Israel has chosen to expand their desalination plant so more local area can get clean water.
In Africa-
Areas that are poor and need water (Ethiopia and Rwanda)now use these to get clean water for their people.
InAustralia-
Because the continent is so small, and is an island, this is very helpful for all the areas to get clean water
