1912- The Qing dynasty soon was overthrown resulting in Republic of China party to take control. This sparked the peoples passion in getting a democracy for the Chinese nation.
The Xinhai Revolution is one factor that led up to the overthrow of the Qing dynasty because the Qing dynasty mishandled the building of the railways so the people started to rebel and soon threw out the remaning "dictator."( Puyi )
sense the Qing dynasty was overthrown the country really didn't know what to do so japan saw this as a opportunity, soon china fell under Japanese rule.
When china was fighting japan during the second sino Japanese war the CPC was formed (communist party of china) the CPC used a lot of guerillia tactics for example they would strap bombs onto themselves and blow up Japanese tanks and people, A man straped a bomb onto himself and ran into a secret Japanese hideout and blew himself up raking up 25 kills.
1949- The war between japan and CPC ended and the communist party soon changed china for the worst, they started implementing their communistic ideologies effecting the people, influencing more people to want a democracy over a communism.
Hu Yaobang wanted to introduce a democracy then he "died from unknown causes" when he died was when the collage teens decided to start a march down the street.
At frist china didnt care about the protests but the protesters made the prime minister go to a entirely different air port which really up set the government sparking the idea of literal murder.
Soon the protests started to grow, not even just thousands MILLIONS of people had gathered in tienamen square to protest. At this point the CPC started to take action
The CPC started adding military combatants to help control the crowd but soon it began to get out of hand, on June 4, 1989 the military started firing live rounds into the crowd, Some people ran, others stayed and fought the Chinese communists.
