When I think of the one thing that I want to share with you as part of this learning conversation, I landed with this.

How does this sit with you?

The current situation and the one that we are moving towards.

There is plenty of white noise for us and them.

How do you reduce the white noise and tune in?

How do you see others doing this?

How do you influence others so that they are able to develop their own skills and knowledge in this space and then apply their own strategies to sustain their focused work?

I find that I was previously input dominated.

There was a constant stream of it and there still is.

I started flipping my focus by starting with the outcomes that I wanted to achieve and then paid more attention to the inputs that would progress me towards the achievement of the outcomes I wanted.

I enjoy surfing.

It is not all the waves that I have to consider and commit to, it is the one that I want to catch that will move me forward.

Choose and unchoose where you place your focus for influencing.

This is an important document for educators to familiarise themselves with because it requires a focus on learning technologies and digital pedagogy to deliver this as an entitlement.
