WHO DO WE SERVE

  • Athletes in 1st - 8th grade
  • Palm Springs Unified Students
  • Competitive and Recreational

HISTORY

  • 3 years in operation
  • AAU Member Club
  • John Carlos Meet Champs 2 years straight
  • 14 athletes qualified last year for regional finals
  • Numerous athletes qualified for Junior Olympics with 1 competing last year in Houston Texas
  • 1 athlete ranked 8th Nationally in their age group and event last year

RECREATIONAL

  • Practice 2 x a week
  • 6 weeks total
  • 1 track meet in April (John Carlos)
  • Parents and student responsible for any meet that follows
  • No uniform

  • Practice 2x a week
  • Some Saturday practices
  • 5 total competitions
  • AAU membership and uniforms
  • 45 dollar fee due by February 17th

PRACTICE

  • Starts February 7th
  • Tuesday and Thursday 4:00 - 5:00
  • Parent pick up is at 5:00
  • Students picked up late will be dropped from the program
  • Practice is at Sunny Sands until March 16th.
  • March 16th is the last recreational track practice

  • Starting March 21st club practice will be at Palm Springs High School
  • Tues/Thur 6:00 - 7:15
  • Last practice Thur June 15

  • 45 dollars
  • 20 AAU membership
  • 25 dollars uniform
