I have planted 3 different herbs in the inside environment, and 3 of the same kind of plants in the outside environment. I am testing which environment the plants will grow better?
I believe that the plants I planted in the greenhouse will grow better then the plants inside under the light because I believe the natural light from the sun will bring the plants more nutrients for the plant, and the natural light will be better for photosynthesis.
My project was to determine if plants grew better inside or outside, and I believed that they would grow better outside because the sun would bring better nutrition to the plant and help with photosynthesis. I saw that the plants to grew better inside at the beginning of the process. Inside they took off and were outgrowing the outside plants by a lot. Later in April I went into the green room to see how the ones outside were doing, and they shot up.
I sold them shortly after, so I did not get a picture. They were probably a even length with the ones inside, and the stems were stronger. I believe this is because at the beginning I watered the plants inside a lot more. Once I started watering the outside ones more they sprouted. I really liked this project because I liked seeing the continuous changes in the plants.
