GENITAL WARTS

DEFINITION

• A small bump on the genitals caused by a common sexually transmitted infection
• Genital warts are a fungi
• Can be self-diagnosed

HOW IT IS SPREAD

• Can be spread through sexual activity, even if no one cums.
• Penis does not have to go in the vagina in order to get warts
• Cannot get genital warts through masturbation
• Genital warts can be passed to a baby during vaginal childbirth, but that's rare

SYMPTOMS

• Warts
• Itchiness around anus
• Skin burning sensation
• Vaginal itching

TREATMENTS

• Chemicals to stop the growth
• A cream
• Freeze them off through cryotherapy
• Burn them off with electricity
• Cut them off with a wire, knife, etc. called LEEP
• LEEP stands for Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure
