When Cesar Chavez walked in his Delano grape strike march in Delano, California to boycott grapes, he was stopped by a wall of police. Instead of yelling and being violent to them, he talked his way through the wall in a peaceful manner.

This act shows that Cesar is considerate because he was non- violent and was considerate about the police mans life’s and feelings.

DARING

During Cesar’s 1989 Fast for Life, (to bring awareness to the dangers of pesticides) Cesar spent 36 days without eating any food. This event was organized by the UFWA.

Cesar did not eat for 30 days which is daring because not eating for 36 days could harm your body. This fast most likely contributed to Cesar earlier death at the age of 66.

Chivalrous

When Cesar was just 10 years old his family lost their farm to The Great Depression. Cesar had to move to California and become a migrant farm worker. He started worker the minute he got to California. Cesar had to face all the hardships of migrant farm worker get at the age of 10 including: the short handled hoe, pesticides, no proper bathrooms, no brakes and many more hardships.

When Cesar’s family lost there farm during The Great Depression, Cesar had to move around and face hardships at the age of only 10. Cesar was Chivalrous and braved through these hard times to become one the of the most famous Civil Disobedience leaders.
