  • Goddess of marriage and childbirth.
  • Sister and wife of Zeus.
  • Her pride animal is a peacock.

POSEIDON

ALSO CALLED NEPTUNE

GOD OF POSEIDON

  • God of sea and protector of water features.
  • Brother of Zeus and Hades.
  • While trying to create other animals, he created the horse.

HADES

ALSO CALLED PLUTO, DIS PATER, OREUS, PLOUTON

HADES

  • God of underworld
  • He then also became the god of wealth.
  • Brother of Zeus and Poseidon.

ATHENA

ALSO CALLED MINERVA, ATHINA, ATHENE

  • Virgin goddess of reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature.
  • She was the daughter of Zeus.
  • She didn't have a mother but instead sprang full grown in armor from Zeus' forehead.

  • Twin sister of Apollo.
