The Bible is the account of God's action in the world and His purpose with all of creation. The writing of the Bible took place over 16 centuries and is the work of over 40 authors. It is an amazing collection of books with very different styles all containing the message of God's revelation to the world.
The Bible is a compilation of books containing a wide variety of literary styles. It comes to us in narratives, dialogues,in proverbs and parables,in songs and allegories, in history and prophesy.
