WHAT IS WATER POLLUTION?
- Water pollution occurs when pollutants (particles, chemicalsor substances that make water contaminated) are discharged directly or indirectly into water bodies without enough treatment to get rid of harmful compounds.

- 1. Woburn, MA was the incident when the water was contaminated with industrial solvents, causing 12 incidents of childhood leukemia in the area.

HOW DID THE HUMANS CAUSED THIS?
- "W.R. Grace and Company" and "beatrice foods" were suspected of improperly disposing industrial solvents, that contaminated the local ground water.
