Planning Process

• Decide how to obtain money to reach goal
• Take action
• Save money once goal is reached

This "event" is for college. I will be saving up $1,000 before college starts up.

The needs in this process is to pay for things needed in college. Ex. Books and food

The wants for this process is to be able to have money on me whenever for whatever.

SMART GOAl

• S: Saving up for college
• M: Save at least $1,000
• A: I will set aside 10% of the tips I make for college specifically
• R:It is realistic because I'm setting aside money for a specific group and will still have some for whatever else
• T: I plan to save at least $1,000 or more for college

Roles/ Values

• Role: Help's prepare me for college so I'm not left broke
• Values: Teaches the value of a dollar and responsability

Challenges

• Having to control my self from splurge shopping
• Having to control myself from spending it while with friends
• Sticking to the 10% after a bad day and barely making anything

Now: I have yet to reach the full goal but I have reached a little over a half and still have 3 more months to continue to reach my goal.
