PRESENTATION OUTLINE
One of ponyboys main character traits is the fact that he's not much of a greaser. Greasers are illiterate and just plain out have no common sense. Ponyboy can read, write, and he also has common sense unlike the other greasers.
Another trait ponyboy has that I've noticed is he's kind of a pacifist. Because whenever the other greasers wanna start up a fight ponyboy doesn't want to, ponyboy only fights out of self defense while the others just hit someone just to hit them. In the book there are plenty of fights between the greasers and the clean kids that ponyboy doesn't join in on. Ponyboy does not like trouble like the other.
Ponyboy is a very selfless person, he thinks of others happiness and well being before his own. He cares about people he doesn't know more than he cares about himself. For example the church fire, instead of running away from his actions that might have caused the fire he ran into the church and saved the little kids from dying in the fire.
Me and ponyboy share a trait which is being moody. In the book at some points ponyboy can go from being perfectly fine to instantly mad. In the book the greaser group loved pickin on the clean kids that like going to school and doing good things. And when they would do that ponyboy would just be put in the worst of moods because he cares about others.
Ponyboy is also a young man full of courage. Ponyboy knew deep down in his heart that he needed to help the kids in the burning church. When ponyboy ran back into the church to save the kids from the fire I thought that there's nothing more courageous than that. Ponyboy also encourages his crew when things get tough for them he talks some confidence into them so they believe they can get through anything.
Ponyboy has a very smart mouth towards his group of friends. Throughout the book when his friends wanted to do not so smart things ponyboy always retaliated with a very smart comment causing more conflict in the situations than giving reasons why they shouldn't do dumb things.
Ponyboy is a pretty clean greaser but he's still grimy. He's a very beat up looking kid so are his brothers. Ponyboy wears a black leather jacket and always worried about his hair in the book if it's greased back enough. Ponyboy was definitely not the cleanest person in the book. He acted like one of the clean school kids but looked like a greaser.

Ponyboy is the little brother to the group of greasers he's only 14 and the other greasers are 16 and up. One trait that describes him is the baby of the group he has a baby face and just all around looks like a little kid compared to all the other greasers

Ponyboy is a very inspiring person throughout the book. Because all of the greasers are less capable of doing some things that ponyboy is capable of. Ponyboy try's inspiring the other group members to change and do better in school and just make better life decisions period. He always wants his brothers and friends change for the good and not the bad so he teaches them throughout the book how to change and do good things.

My character ponyboy, did not change throughout the book. I say this because he always has been the good one of the group that was always willing to help and do good things for people. He didn't like fighting at all from the beginning of the book to the end. He always stuck to what he believed in throughout the book and never changes his mind set to the negative side on things, he always kept a positive helping attitude through the book. He stayed the same old ponyboy throughout the entire book which I find to be pretty cool.
In the book ponyboy is a very good influence on his group of greasers and the group was a bad influence on him, by them trying to get ponyboy to do the things they do that ponyboy doesn't like. The group of greasers all influenced each other to be like one another and by doing that they felt that they were getting closer as a group. I found that pretty cool as I read the book because that's true friendship. Whenever one of the greasers got in trouble they all felt like they were in trouble to because they won't let one member feel the need to get out of situations on there own they were in it together.
