Life in Ancient Greece
Men had a much better life than women. Only men made important decisions, only men could be full citizens. And only men could do sports.
Spartan women were taught reading and writing and skills to protect themselves in battle. They had more freedom than women in Athens.
In Athens women learned to cook, weaving and made clothes.

FAMOUSE PEOPLE IN ANCIENT ROME

  • Spartacus: he is the most famous gladiator in Rome history, Spartacus was a soldier caught in war and then sold in slavery to fight in the-then famous gladiator battles.
  • Augustus: he is known as the founder of Roman Empire.
  • Julius Caesar: he is the most important emperor.
