Isthmus- An isthmus is a piece of land that connects to other pieces of land together. Central America is an isthmus.

Island- Islands are what make up the Caribbean's.

Greater Antilles- The greater Antilles are the bigger islands of the Bahamas.

Lesser Antilles- The lesser Antilles are like the bigger Antilles but smaller of the Caribbean's.

tropical- the climate of the caribbean and c.a is tropical and subtropical.

hurricanes- are come frequent in the c.a and the caribbean.

rain forest- there are May tropical rain forests in Central America and the Caribbean.

Maya- there were many native tribes In Central America but Mainly the Maya's

Arawaks and Caribs- the early people in the Caribbean were the areas and the Caribs

Triangular trade- slaves sugar and other goods made up the triangular trade between the Americas, Europe, and Africa.

Slaves- slaves were cent from Africa to the Americas in the triangular trade

Dictators- many countries have dictators

Steel drums- steel drums are the main Caribbean instrument.

Poverty- many people didn't have good jobs which led to being poor.

Roman Catholic- is the main religion of both the Caribbean and Central America.

Tourism- tourism is very important to there economy.

East Caribbean dollar- many Caribbean islands use the east Caribbean dollar.

Panama canal- is a way to get from the Atlantic or Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean through Panama.
