The Iwo Jima Memorial, also known as the U. S. Marine Corps War Memorial, honors the Marines who have died defending the United States since 1775.

In Washington, DC commemorates the more than 200,000 soldiers of the U.S.
Arlington National Cemetery-
The Cemetery was established during the Civil War as a final resting place for Union soldiers
WW2 memorial- The World War II Memorial honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the U.S.
Tomb of unknown soldier- This tomb holds the remains of different soldiers limbs and parts and are honored for their serving in our military.
Soldier badges - Soldiers are awarded and honored with many different badges. They are awarded for bravery, sacrifice, and many more.
Vietnam Memorial- This memorial is in honor of all the ones who were in the war in Vietnam. This was one of the largest wars in US history. Many lost their lives and are remembered on this wall.
