Government was Formed

  • Texas formed a government

Texas Declaration of Independence Was Formed

  • 60 delegates in the Consultation signed the declaration
  • declaration of independence was signed on march,1, 1836

Summary

The Texas settlers were very upset with the Mexican goverment changing the Constitution of 1821. The shared their grievances in a declaration stating their desire for independence. The Mexicans were not happy that the Texan settlers were taking their land and that texas wanted to be there own state.
