ZAKAT

• 2.5% of wealth more you give the better.
• Helps to pay people’s debts
• Fund fountains for Wudu.
• Distribute money yourself or give money to an official.
• Purifies wealth.

SAWM

• Starts at morning prayer, ends at sunset
• One meal early, one meal at night
• Ends with Eid-al-fitr
• Teaches self-control to Muslims
• Avoid gossip, argument, and bad deeds.

• Men change into Ihram(White Sheets) Women- Modest clothing
• Visit and pray at Mt. Arafat
• Circle Kaa’ba seven times
• Drink from Zamzam spring
• Throw stones at pillars representing Satan
