WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT?

  • The printing press grants axcess the the main books or printers
  • It is one of the main intellectual properties
  • Includes trade marks, designs and so on

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Allows someone to own things that they create
  • It has the right to prevent others from copying/recreating work

  • Has the economic and moral right to cover their rights against the owner.
  • Has a right to see it, distribute copies of it and also, lend it to others.
  • To make it into a pay, to speak freely in public, profiting off the work.
  • They have the right to make money off of it to other companies.
  • All authors are accounted responsible for all actions of the creation.

Registering for a Copyright
you have to first fill out a form and then depositing one or two examples of your work.

what is protected by copyright? a copyright protects the orginal works authorship as a creator of your work you should have the right to control what people can and cannot do with your work.

why should you care about a copyright? because your the one who created and published the work.

what are the pentalities of a copyright and what could happen if you use copyright material without permission? what is it called?

if anyone doesnt have permission of the copyright, then it can be liable to the owner for the damages, they can face up to $30,000-$150,000 for the damages. Infrigmentis when someone basically takes credit of your work or steals your work. Infrigment can be a crime and can be imprisonment.
