A microsystems engineer creates miniature electronic sensors and devices which can be used for safty or other useful things.

Microsystems engineers work with small electronics devices and sensors. an example of this is a microsystems engineer might develop a set of microphones so small they can easily be implanted in almost any device for secret audio surveillance.

To work in this occupation you need a masters degree at minimum.

The uniform of a microsystems engineer typically consists of a sterile suit to prevent damage to the tiny electronics

The entry level is about as far as you get as you start off engineering microelectronics if you get the job you get the job.

Microsystems engineer is a rather new job opportunity in a relatively high demand at least above other jobs in its field such as biologist or astronomer.

At entry level a microsystems engineer will receive about $100k but this can be increased depending on your education affinity for the work and experience entry level working for the government can yield $150k yearly

The reason i am interested in this topic is because I find a personal interest in technology and scientific development and the amount of money you get is pretty insane. These engineers work daily progressing and pushing the boundaries of technology as we know it.
