POSITIIVE AND NEGATIVE

BY MATTHEW HUGHES 2nd PERIOD

First You want to add negative 5 to 6 and you will get 1once you get that number you want to add -3 to one and you will end up with -2.

The problem here is 3-(-2)-8 so first you want to subtract the three from the negative 2 but since it is a negative you add so it is 5 then you subtract 5 from 8 so the answer is -3

The problem here is 3x(-6)x(-1) so we want to multiply 3 times negative 6 but since there is to negatives in the problem it has to change into a positive so it is 18 then multiply it with the negative one and the answer is 18

The problem here is 36 divided by -6 so when you are dividing a negative with a positive you look for the negatives so there is one so it will be a negative answer and 36 divided by -6 is -6 so the answer is -6
