SPRING TIDES

  • Th first spring tide was recorded in 15-20 to 15-30
  • Spring tides are higher then high tides
  • Spring tides are caused by the moons gravity
  • Tides are cause by the moons gravitaion .
  • When we orbit the moon has to be behind us and the sun infront of us to cause a change of tide.

Untitled Slide

  • Tides occur once or twice each lunar month.Spring tides are tides that are much bigger than just regular high tides. Sping tides are alot stronger and no they do not come because of spring.
  • There is a new change of tides every 24 hours and 50 minutes.

Untitled Slide

  • Did you know there is something bigger than a spring tide it is called a king spring tide and it is the highest tide that occurs on the beach.
  • It only occurs 2 times a year.

The moons gravitationl force pulls on water in the oceans so that there are bulges in the ocean on both sides of the planet wich forms a high tides.

Untitled Slide

  • Tides can be so high that they can cover docks and boats.
  • Low tides can be so low that when people got to the beach they see dead fish.
  • Also if the moon werent here then there would be no controll of the ocean.

HOW IT WORKS !!!

  • The moon causes the tides to switch
  • When we orbit the moons gravitation pulls the bottom of the earth and that is sorta saying pulls the ocean and when it pulls out it is low tide and when it pushes in that is high tide
