  • Psychological Disorders are patterns of behavioral symptoms that impact multiple areas of life.
  • affect the person both physically and mentally.
  • Physical Side Affects: headaches, high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes, skin conditions, asthma, arthritis

Warning Signs

  • Common Warning Signs: withdrawal, problems completing thoughts , and changes in appetite/mood
  • The people who notice the warning signs first: friends, family, and coworkers
  • If someone notices these warning signs, they should try and encourage them to receive help.

TREATMENTS

  • Treatments vary on the seriousness of each case and the possible health risks that the person may face.
  • Treatment is effective if the person follows the protocol that has been established by their doctor or therapist.
  • Known treatments: Medication, Psychotherapy, and Group therapy
