Chinese weddings...
Just like everywhere else weddings are important to the Chinese culture.
The Chinese weddings start with the groom going over to the bride's home. the bride's sisters tease the groom before handing the bride over.The groom has to present them with small gifts in order for them to hand the bride over. After coming over to the groom's house they bow towards heaven and earth.
Then they have a traditional tea party. The couple offer the elders tea. If they accept then the bride is accepted.

Chinese New Year Traditions
There are many practices in the Chinese culture. The doors and window panes are to be painted red because red is a lucky color. It is also lucky to hang paper cuts on their doors. You should not clean or sweep because if you do then you are sweeping away the good luck. You are to offer sacrifice something to the kitchen god for good luck. Family hides coins inside dumplings and whomever takes that dumpling will have a very prosperous year.On New Years children receive leisee, little
