Burj Khalifa is that it's so tall the wind is a problem because it's coming at 12 km/hour but have been as high as 80km/hour and Burj Khalifa was nearly half a mile long and would need some serious wind tunnel.
People hate waiting for elevators, but imagine people in this building and their on floor 145th. Don’t worry they’ve fixed this problem with super fast elevators that hold a record and they’re safe too. The first problem was the height, nobody wanted to to keep working because of the height even if they got twice the payment. Fewer people kept working and more people died.
Some problems were that it’s also really tall that it’s affected by the wind They had to design it a certain way so it could handle earthquakes and wind over loads, also so it’s safe.
Challenges of 23 Marina being built: Air conditioners can’t keep up with demand of the large building and heat. The builder put substandard cooling towels in because he ran out of money and defaulted on his D575 millions loan. Air conditioning towels are undesigned and overworked. Trident ( the building company) didn’t leave proper building drawings so it is difficult to replace the faulty equipment. The humidity in the apartments are causing mold and mildew to grow, which is becoming dangerous health wise.
Overall I think these problems are serious for these really tall buildings, especially Burj Khalifa. This affects anyone who lives in the city, because if Burj Khalifa or any of these other buildings fell it would be bad, but good thing these buildings are built well.
