• Bill Bowerman is Cofounder of nike. Born feb. 19, 1991 he went to The University of Oregon and was a star in track and field.

HOW DID HE START NIKE?

• After College, Bill became an amazing track coach. Now the most famous coach in track history. He paired up with Phil Knight.

JUST DO IT

• He lived in Oregon and founded nike in 1964 in hopes of making nice track shoes. He ended up having the biggest sporting goods company in the world worth ove 90 billion dollars and employs 62,600 people.

STRIVE FOR GREATNESS

• Originally called blue ribbon sports nike wasn't always a walk in the park. Bill mid life lost all feeling in his legs because of nerve damage though he would walk again.
