When I Was Born

Early Life

Life's Work

• After my internship I went into the army and fought in World War II
• After the war I was a doctor in Texas.
• I also founded the American G.I. Forum to help protect the rights of my people that were veterans.

When I Died

• I died in Texas in 1996
• I was 82 years old
