FIVE COMPONENTS OF FITNESS

  • Body Composition-Good diet,Aerobic exercises,Resistance training,Leg press,Leg curls
  • Cardio Endurance-mile run,biking,swimming,jogging,pacers
  • Muscle Endurance-push-ups,squats,pull-ups,poly metrics,curl-ups
  • Flexibility-shoulder stretch,toe touch,flamingo stetch,calf stretch,neck stretch
  • Muscle strength-weight lifting,bench press,bicep curls, push squats,pull-ups

Volleyball Notes
Volleyball positions determine what your role is out on the court during a game. Each player has a specific job to do:
Outside Hitter,Middle Blocker,libero,setter,opposite
Rules
Player on one of the teams begins a ‘rally’ by serving the ball from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team’s court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to 3 times but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively.

UF-grip, pivot, backhand, forehand & safety
Safety Considerations-
~don't throw to someone who isn't looking
~watch your throw depending on weather
~prevent collision
~wear proper clothing depending on where you are
-In our rows we tried to toss the frisbee as straight to the person as we could and we found that when you are closer together it makes the job much easier
