School & Jobs
Football can help kids throughout their schooling and in their work life as well. First people playing football graduate high school. Twenty five percent to thirty five percent than kids who are not involved in sports. With this higher education they end up earning twelve percent to thirty one percent more money than non-football players which equals about seventy three more dollars per week. These numbers are all bigger than those of students in band, theater, or student government. Football also creates a desire for excellence that players will try to achieve in the classroom and the workplace. Finally, when you play football you learn to work with groups. This affects work and school because, just like on a football team, sometimes you must work with people you don't like or aren't friends with, but for the team to be successful you must learn to work well with even your worst enemies.
